  • First you need to understand what the region represents. Some entities have a Coat of Arms, and others don't.
  • In many countries, entities on different levels may be identified by the same name. e.g. in Belgium, Antwerp exists on 4 levels. Province, Arrondissment, City, District. All with the same name.
  • In the above example (Antwerp), there is a seperate CoA for Province, City & District, but not for Arrondissment.
  • Make sure your final design, represents the correct level in the Country.
  • If the entity has a CoA, download this image - make sure the image height is 600 pixels or higher
  • If the entity has no CoA, find a map highlighting the area (at least 600 x 600)
  • If the entity has no CoA, also download the CoA of the higher entity e.g. when it is a city district, download the city CoA
